An exclusive Shiseido Professional launch event for their new haircare range. Designed for Melbourne’s top salon owners and managers, the immersive & sensory-driven experience welcomed 50 guests exclusively to Yugen.
Designed around the theme “The Art of Sublime Beauty,” the experience translated the brand’s refined Japanese heritage into a modern luxury setting. Guests were immersed in a carefully curated environment featuring sculptural product displays and a live violinist performance from the Golden Orb, creating a balance of elegance, artistry, and atmosphere.
The culinary and beverage offering reflected the brand’s key ingredients and innovation, with a delicate canapé menu highlighting yuzu, wagyu, black sesame, matcha, and oscietra caviar. Standout dishes included spiced bluefin tuna, wagyu beef tart, and tempura shiso leaf with scallop, alongside substantial offerings such as unagi don and soba noodles with crispy duck.
A live sushi station added theatre, while a bespoke cocktail menu—featuring Japanese spirits and layered flavour profiles—was inspired by the hero product ranges, delivering a cohesive and memorable guest experience.
